Sustainability policy

Our approach

At Gantio Robotics, sustainability is about concrete everyday choices: making better use of materials, avoiding errors and unnecessary waste, planning transport and looking after the people who work with our solutions.

We start from what we can influence and prioritise practical improvements that work in our daily operations.

The policy applies to all of Gantio Robotics, including Systems, Production and GoFrame™.

01 · Materials

Materials, waste and residual materials

We work to minimise material waste and errors in production, and we document our waste percentage. This gives us a basis for tracking material consumption and finding opportunities for improvement.

We actively look for buyers of the remaining offcuts and sawdust, including fuel producers or private individuals who need the material. Selling it as fuel is not the same as reusing the material in new products.

We handle production waste locally at the production site rather than letting it arise on the building site, where disposal can require repeated trips.

02 · Transport

Fewer trips with better-utilised trucks

We work to make better use of truck capacity so our deliveries can be made with fewer trips. We describe this as an effort in transport planning and do not state specific climate savings without a documented basis.

03 · Working environment

Working environment and safety

We focus on safety around machines. The production and development teams work closely together every day, so needs and experience from the production floor can quickly be turned into concrete improvements in working environment, safety and efficiency.

04 · Development

Development and collaboration

We collaborate with knowledge institutions, foundations and external partners in construction on developing alternative building materials and timber building systems. This includes clay blocks through Leralliancen and timber systems with metal-free joints (design for disassembly and circularity).

These collaborations are part of our development work. New materials and solutions must be assessed on their properties and documentation before we make claims about their environmental benefits.

Documentation and communication

We say what we actually do

We will describe our work concretely and in language that matches what we actually do. We distinguish between existing practice, development work and future ambitions. Figures and claims about environmental and climate benefits must have a documented basis and clear boundaries.
